The Swiss village of Ovronnaz is set high on a south facing slope in the Valais region of Switzerland.  It is a perfect location for powder skiing in winter, walking and mountain biking in the summer, or relaxing all year round in the natural baths of the Thermal Spa.  Located 10 km from the autoroute, nestling at the foot of the Les Muverans mountain range, the holiday resort of Ovronnaz enjoys a mild and invigorating climate at an ideal altitude of 1,350 metres, amidst marvellous scenery and offers varied activities.

Winter Activities:

From the baby-lift in the resort to the summit of the ski runs at Tsantonnaire:  1,100 metres from top to bottom and ski runs to meet every taste. The delights of powdered snow, the beauty of snow covered Alpine landscapes, allied to the benefits of thermal water.  In Ovronnaz, skiing followed by a session in the baths is a must.    Ovronnaz in winter offers three cross-country skiing loops, marked footpaths, a snowshoe route, and huge expanses of powder snow perfect for Telemark and rambling.  The view over the Valais Alps from the terrace of the mountain restaurant can also be enjoyed by pedestrians from the chair lift.
